At Country Club Frenchies, we offer professional, hands-on French Bulldog whelping services in Georgia for breeders who want experienced care for their female and newborn puppies during the most critical first weeks of life.
We welcome French Bulldog breeders throughout Georgia, Atlanta, North Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina, as well as breeders willing to travel to Georgia for experienced whelping and neonatal puppy care.
Whether this is your first French Bulldog litter, you have a demanding work schedule, live several hours away, are concerned about caring for newborn puppies around the clock, or simply want the peace of mind of having an experienced Frenchie breeder handle those first critical weeks, we are here to help.
In addition to our French Bulldog whelping services, we also offer an optional puppy marketing and placement service for breeders who need help finding qualified homes for their puppies.
Our goal is to give breeders support from delivery through those difficult first weeks and, when requested, help introduce their available puppies to a much larger audience.

Hi, I’m Olia Lazareva, owner of Country Club Frenchies.
I am a licensed French Bulldog breeder in Georgia with years of hands-on experience breeding French Bulldogs, raising newborn puppies and managing the demanding first weeks of a litter.
Frenchies are my specialty.
Over the years, I have cared for puppies that needed everything from routine nursing assistance to much more intensive neonatal support. I am experienced with tube feeding, supplemental feeding, incubator care, oxygen support, weight monitoring, assisting weaker puppies and caring for mothers and puppies following C-sections.
I also understand how exhausting whelping can be. Sometimes it means very little sleep, constant observation and knowing when something simply doesn't look right.
When another breeder places a mother and litter in my care, I treat them with the same attention and patience that I give my own dogs.
Professional French Bulldog Whelping Services
French Bulldog whelping is very different from simply watching a mother deliver puppies.
The first several days can require nearly constant supervision. Puppies need to stay warm, nurse properly and continue gaining weight. Some puppies may need assistance latching, supplemental feeding or additional time with their mother.
The mother also needs to be monitored closely, particularly following a C-section.
Depending on the individual needs of the litter, our French Bulldog neonatal and whelping care may include:
• Around-the-clock observation during the critical newborn period
• Nursing and latching assistance
• Regular puppy weight monitoring
• Supplemental feeding when necessary
• Tube feeding when appropriate
• Incubator support
• Oxygen support when appropriate
• Temperature and environmental monitoring

Every litter is different, so care is adjusted to the individual needs of the mother and her puppies.
Newborn Puppy Incubator, Oxygen & Tube Feeding Experience
Having the right equipment available can make caring for a newborn litter much easier.
Our whelping setup includes puppy incubators and oxygen equipment, and I have experience tube feeding newborn puppies when supplemental feeding is needed.
Newborn puppies can change very quickly. Their nursing behavior, body temperature, activity level and weight can provide important information about how they are progressing.
Close observation allows us to recognize when a puppy may require additional attention.
Our whelping services are not a replacement for veterinary medicine. If I believe a mother or puppy requires veterinary attention, I will contact the owner and seek appropriate veterinary care according to our agreement.
French Bulldog C-Section Assistance in Georgia
French Bulldogs frequently require veterinary assistance during delivery, and many French Bulldog litters are delivered by planned C-section.
If your female is staying with me prior to delivery, I can also assist with coordinating her French Bulldog C-section with my veterinarian when necessary.
Having an established veterinary relationship is particularly helpful because there is already a plan in place if veterinary intervention becomes necessary.
The C-section itself is performed by a licensed veterinarian.
Veterinary examinations, C-sections, medications, emergency veterinary treatment and other veterinary expenses are separate from the weekly whelping fee and remain the responsibility of the dog's owner.
Post-C-Section Care for French Bulldogs
The hours and days following a C-section are extremely important.
Some mothers immediately settle into motherhood. Others may be tired, uncomfortable, confused or require more supervision around their newborn puppies.
During this period, I can assist with supervised nursing, helping puppies latch, monitoring mom's recovery, keeping the puppies warm and comfortable, monitoring weights and making sure smaller puppies have adequate opportunities to nurse.
I also observe the mother for changes in appetite, behavior, milk production and general recovery.
Any suspected medical complication is referred to a veterinarian.
Our 5-Week Whelping Program
Our standard French Bulldog whelping program has a five-week minimum.
I chose five weeks intentionally.
I don't want to simply deliver puppies and send a breeder home a few days later when the litter still requires significant around-the-clock care. The first several weeks are often the most demanding portion of raising a litter.
By keeping the mother and puppies through approximately five weeks, I can help manage the transition from completely dependent newborn puppies to increasingly independent puppies beginning the next stage of development.
This arrangement can be especially convenient for breeders traveling to us from Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina or North Carolina, since they don't have to make repeated long-distance trips every few days.
What Happens During the Five Weeks?

The first few days are often the most intensive.
We focus heavily on nursing, warmth, weight, behavior and making sure mom is adjusting appropriately to her puppies.
Puppies that require additional assistance can receive more individualized attention.

During the neonatal stage, puppies remain highly dependent on their mother and their environment.
We continue monitoring nursing, growth, weight and general condition while maintaining a clean and appropriately controlled environment.

Puppies begin becoming much more active and aware of their surroundings.
Their needs change quickly during this stage, and we begin preparing them for the transition toward greater independence while continuing to monitor mom and the litter.

By the fifth week, puppies are entering a very different developmental stage than they were during their first days of life.
We begin preparing the litter for the next phase of puppy development and transitioning care back to the breeder unless an extended stay has been arranged.
Whelping Service Rates
1–4 puppies: $800 per week
Five-week minimum: $4,000
5 or more puppies: $1,000 per week
Five-week minimum: $5,000
The litter size used for pricing is based on the number of live puppies requiring care.
Veterinary expenses, C-sections, prescription medications, emergency veterinary care and other outside medical expenses are not included in the weekly whelping rate unless specifically stated in your agreement.
Longer stays may be available depending on our schedule.
Why Use a Professional French Bulldog Whelper?
Whelping a French Bulldog litter can mean interrupted sleep, frequent monitoring and constantly watching for subtle changes in both mom and puppies.
For a breeder with a full-time job, children, travel commitments or limited neonatal experience, those first several weeks can become overwhelming very quickly.
Some breeders also simply prefer having an experienced French Bulldog breeder handle the newborn period.
There is nothing wrong with asking for help.
Our whelping service allows you to remain the breeder and owner of your litter while having experienced support during one of the most demanding stages of raising puppies.
A Home Environment, Not a Commercial Kennel
Our whelping program is intentionally limited.
We do not want numerous outside litters coming through our home at the same time.
Taking fewer litters allows us to provide more individualized attention and helps us maintain a cleaner, more controlled environment.
For biosecurity reasons, outside females and litters may be subject to health requirements before entering our home. Vaccination records and other veterinary documentation may be requested prior to arrival.

Raising a healthy litter is only part of the responsibility of breeding.
Finding appropriate homes can sometimes be just as challenging.
Country Club Frenchies also offers an optional French Bulldog puppy placement and marketing service for breeders whose litters are staying with us.
Over the years, I have built a substantial online audience around Country Club Frenchies, with more than 100,000 followers across our social media presence.
For breeders who choose our puppy placement service, I can use my established audience and online presence to help introduce their available puppies to potential families.
This may include professional-looking photos and videos of your puppies, social media exposure, website listings and promotion through Country Club Frenchies' established platforms.
Puppy placement and marketing services are optional and are charged separately from whelping services.

One of the biggest challenges for smaller breeders is visibility.
You can raise an incredible litter, but if only a few hundred people see your posts, finding appropriate families may take time.
Country Club Frenchies already has an established audience of French Bulldog owners, enthusiasts and families interested in the breed.
Instead of starting from zero, breeders who use our placement service have the opportunity to have their puppies introduced to an established audience.
Depending on the placement package and our agreement, marketing may include:

Our goal is not simply to generate inquiries. We want to help connect breeders with serious families who understand the responsibility involved in bringing home a French Bulldog.
Placement is never guaranteed, and Country Club Frenchies cannot guarantee that every puppy will be placed within a particular period of time.
Placement and marketing fees are separate and will be discussed before marketing begins.
Whelping + Marketing in One Place
For breeders who choose both services, this creates a convenient arrangement.
While your puppies are staying with me during the five-week whelping program, I am already seeing them every day.
I get to watch them grow, photograph them and learn their individual personalities.
That makes it much easier to create natural photos and videos and provide potential families with meaningful information about each puppy.
Instead of waiting until the litter comes home to begin marketing, we may be able to begin building interest while the puppies are still developing, depending on their age and your preferences.
For busy breeders, this can remove two major pressures at once: the demanding newborn stage and the time required to consistently market a litter.
My program is centered specifically around French Bulldogs.
I understand the breed, their mothers and the realities of raising French Bulldog puppies.
Country Club Frenchies is a Georgia licensed breeder, and my own breeding program has been AKC inspected.
Just as importantly, this is hands-on care.
I intentionally limit the number of outside litters I accept. I do not want a house full of unrelated litters simply because there is space for them.
Taking fewer litters allows me to devote more individual attention to the mother and puppies entrusted to me.

Whelping Services for Out-of-State French Bulldog Breeders
Although we are located in Georgia, you do not need to live in Georgia to use our whelping services.
We welcome breeders traveling from throughout the Southeast, including:

Many breeders are willing to travel several hours when they know their mother and puppies will remain in experienced hands for several weeks.

Our standard rate is $800 per week for litters of four puppies or fewer and $1,000 per week for litters of five or more puppies.
There is a five-week minimum.

Yes, when space is available.
If you contact me on the same day that you need me to accept your mother and/or litter, the emergency whelping rate is $1,500 for the first week. Standard weekly rates apply afterward.

Yes. Oxygen equipment is available when appropriate. Puppies requiring emergency medical treatment will be referred for veterinary care.
