Hi, I’m Nugget.

I’m a 3½-year-old chocolate fawn French Bulldog, and I’m really the sweetest girl. I have an amazing temperament, lots of personality, and a big heart once I feel settled. I was born and raised here at Country Club Frenchies, where I’ve always been very loved and well cared for.

Now I’m looking for the right family to retire with and live my happily-ever-after. There’s no rush. My mom is being very selective and waiting for the perfect fit for me. She knows me well and wants to make sure I end up somewhere I feel calm, safe, and truly at home.

I do best as the only pet. I have a bit of an alpha, dominant personality, so I really shine when I don’t have to share attention with other animals. I’m great with kids, but honestly, I’d be happiest in a quieter home, ideally with someone retired or someone who has the time to give me lots of one-on-one attention. I bond deeply with my person, and that connection matters to me.

We believe in making sure it’s a good match for everyone. We’d start with short trial visits, then move to a 7-day trial, and eventually a 30-day trial period. If everything feels right on both sides, my adoption would then be made official. I will be spayed before that happens.

It’s also very important that I stay in Georgia. That way, if anything ever comes up, my mom can always be close and step in if needed. I need someone patient, kind, and understanding, someone who’s willing to let me settle in at my own pace.

If you think we might be a good match, I’d love the chance to meet you. Sometimes it just takes one quiet house and one special person to make everything click.

My Approach

A French Bulldog standing on a paved path in a wooded area, wearing a brown harness and leash.

The most important thing to me is making sure Nugget ends up in the right home and that everyone feels comfortable and confident with the decision. Because of that, her adoption will be a gradual process, not a quick handoff.

Gradual Transition & Trial Period

We would start with several short trial visits. I would bring Nugget to your home and spend a couple of hours there with her, letting her explore, settle a bit, and get familiar with you and your environment. After that, we would move to leaving her with you for a day or two at a time. As long as things are going well, we would slowly extend the length of her stays so she can truly adjust and form a routine.

If, at any point during this process, you have doubts or feel that Nugget may not be the right fit, I will immediately come and get her. There is absolutely no pressure. Her well-being always comes first, and I want this to feel right for everyone involved.

MAKE IT oFFICIAL: lONG-TERM PLACEMENT

Once we reach the 30-day mark and you are confident that Nugget is a good fit for your family, we will make the adoption official. At that point, she will be spayed prior to finalizing everything.

I do strongly prefer that Nugget stays within 50 miles of Braselton, Georgia. This is important to me so that I can remain close by and step in if needed for any reason. I’m committed to her for life and want to make sure she is always safe, supported, and loved.

This process is about patience, trust, and making sure Nugget transitions into a calm, stable, forever home where she can truly thrive.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Nugget’s adoption fee is $650. This fee will be due only after the 30-day trial period, once you are confident that she is a good fit for your family and we mutually agree to make the adoption official. Nothing is rushed, and there is no financial commitment until that point.

  • She will be up to date on all vaccinations and will come with a negative fecal test for added peace of mind. To help her settle in comfortably, Nugget will also go home with her bed, favorite toys, and a bag of her current food, so she has familiar items during the transition.

  • What makes me different is that I don’t see my dogs as inventory or breeding assets. Every dog in my program is my responsibility for life, even when they retire. Adoption, for me, is never about convenience or moving a dog quickly. It’s about doing what’s genuinely best for that individual dog.

I don’t rush placements. I use trial periods, gradual transitions, and clear boundaries because I want to be absolutely certain that the home is the right fit. If at any point it doesn’t feel right, I step in and take the dog back without hesitation. That safety net is always there. Not every breeder is willing to do that.

I also remain involved. I stay local by design, I keep in touch, and I make myself available long after adoption. I handle spay care, medical updates, paperwork, and I’m transparent about temperament, strengths, and limitations. I’d rather say no to ten homes than say yes to one that isn’t right.

Most importantly, I take responsibility beyond the contract. These dogs were born into my program, raised with intention, and loved from day one. My role doesn’t end when a dog leaves my home. That lifelong accountability is what truly sets me apart.

  • Yes. Nugget does well with children and has a very stable temperament around them. That said, she is not overly hyper and prefers a calmer environment. She enjoys affection and companionship, but she thrives best in a home where her space is respected and interactions are gentle and structured.

  • Nugget has a confident, alpha personality and does best when she doesn’t have to share attention with other animals. While she isn’t aggressive, she is happiest and most relaxed when she is the sole pet in the home. Being the only dog allows her to fully settle, bond deeply, and avoid unnecessary stress.

  • Item descriptionIf Nugget has difficulty adjusting at any point during the trial process, I will step in immediately and bring her back. There is no pressure to “make it work.” Her emotional well-being comes first, and I would much rather regroup than force a situation that isn’t ideal for her or for your family.

  • Nugget does not require any special or ongoing medical care beyond normal French Bulldog maintenance. She does best with consistency, patience, and a predictable routine. Like many Frenchies, she bonds deeply with her person, so time, attention, and a calm home environment are more important than anything else.
